TestimonialsKidSafe NSW. "Carols by Candlelight is a great Aussie tradition, but it has its downside: young children, open flames, hot wax & crowds are a dangerous mix. Replacing wax candles with SafeFlame Candles is a very good way of making this part of Christmas safe & fun for all children." Bryce McNair
Burn Foundation Australia. "This summer local governments may once again impose total fire bans making it illegal to use wax candles with naked flames in open spaces. Every year far too many children get burnt or start fires due to the misuse of wax candles, or by the naked flame itself. For a more enjoyable & safer Carols by Candlelight, SafeFlame Candles are a very clever substitute for wax candles, with the realistic light & the magic of a conventional candle they create a wonderfully warm festive atmosphere." Denise Hurley
Gisborne Church of Christ. "As organisers of our local community carols by candlelight, we have sold SafeFlame Candles for the last 4 years. SafeFlame Candles look great & sell themselves, they have been perfect at our events when total fire bans are in place, or when we have had to move in doors due to bad weather & the use of traditional candles is not permitted. The Gloware sales team is always polite & courteous & our orders are always delivered on time. We will continue to use SafeFlame Candles for all future carols by candlelight events." Debra Keane
Berri-Barmera Carols by the lake. "Take the setting of a beautiful summers evening, a lakeside, a pre-event picnic and games for the children, then add to that atmosphere music and carols and children delightedly running around with their Gloware bangles, or the picture of a family all gathered together on a rug with no other lighting other than the glow of their SafeFlame Candles - makes for a pretty successful family event. This was our second year using Gloware products and SafeFlame Candles, and we have found them to be very popular and safe." Robin Zadow
Glenelg Apex Club. "Gloware's SafeFlame Cadnles sold 3:1 of the traditional candles we sell at our event enabling us to triple our sales at this event" Mathew Morgan Committee Member
Casey Assembly of God. "Thank you kindly for your service, it was a pleasure doing business with you." Merry Christmas,
City of Stonnington. "SafeFlame Candles have been particularly popular at Stonnington's three night-time carols concerts over the last two years. They are a far safer option for the kids and look fantastic. The improvements in their design created a product that was perfect for our Christmas concerts." Chris Loftus-Hills
Dee Why Primary School. "At our recent event a Tongan 'Umu'/Carols Concert, SafeFlame Candles lived up to their name: with over 300 primary school children we knew the children could have fun and be safe at all times. This great product lit up the happy smiles and illuminated all the fun of our special evening." Thanks very much,
Flinders Island Anglican Church. "For the second year in a row Gloware's SafeFlame Candles proved to be a tremendous success with our carols events. With the Flinders Island Carols event being moved indoors due to 40 knots winds, we found that we did not have to worry about cleaning up wax or the risk of fire damage with the use of SafeFlame candles." "The SafeFlame Candles were well received by both the Flinders Island and Cape Baron Carols, we will be sure to order a larger amount next year." Bob Witten
St Andrew's Anglican Church. "We were delighted to be able to use your SafeFlame Candles at our three outdoor Carols events last Christmas. We felt much happier knowing that children were not handling candles with all the potential risks of a naked flame. Your candles were well received by the public, and several civic leaders commended us for selling them. We look forward to hearing more of your new improved product this year." Roger Kay
Royal Victorian Institute for the Blind. "Whilst it is unlikely that actual lit candles would start a fire at the Sydney Myer Music Bowl, it had been a very real concern that children will set fire to each other, or just as unfortunate, we would not be able to participate in the candlelight caroling because of the risk of burns. Your candles solved this problem." "Over 2,000 SafeFlaem Candles were sold at the event with no incident." "Being cheap and safe, all future RVIB Carols events will purchase your SafeFlame Candles tailored with our event message and sponsors logo. Once again thankyou." Regards, Jeff Johnson
The Salvation Army Gladstone. "Sales from Gloware's SafeFlame Candle at our carols event outsold the previous year's sales of standard glow sticks and traditional candles." Greg Fean
Narellan Community Care. "Being our first ever total fire ban for our Carols by Candlelight Event, we needed an answer quickly and Gloware were our answer. Their team was very accommodating with our last minute request for 2000 SafeFlame Candles. This was also our means of supporting Lifeline and their activities in the Macarthur Region. We are already budgeting their SafeFlame Candles into our future carols events, fire ban or not, they are a far safer and enjoyable alternative." Many Thanks,
St Kevins School. I would just like to extend my sincere thanks to Gloware for having the SafeFlame Candles sent priority me. They arrived to St. Kevin’s this morning, much to my relief. We now are eagerly looking forward to our Carols by Candle Light, which is tonight. Upon seeing the product im NOW thinking I probably should have ordered another 2000 candles! Carols more fun than you can poke a glow stick at... "While still officially Carols by Candlelight, it was more a case of Carols by Glow Stick at Thuringowa last night. Some candles could still be found among the masses who attended but glow sticks, a safer and more colourful replacement light source, were all the rage." "A Thuringowa City Council spokesman said a risk management assessment on the event showed candles' naked flames were a safety concern. He said a woman's hair had caught alight at a previous Carols by Candlelight and there had been several other near misses." "It turned out the free SafeFlame Candles were a big hit with children, as they could be thrown around, waved and even used for duelling contests. Parents said they considered the candle-shaped sticks safer and more fun." "Last night's event attracted almost 1000 local performers and thousands of spectators. Thuringowa Mayor Les Tyrell said the night was a huge success, with money raised going to the Mayors' Christmas Appeal." Townsville Bulletin
The Shepparton Carols by Candlelight celebrations have made a gradual transition from selling traditional wax candles to selling SafeFlame Candles over the last two years. The last celebration (2005) we presented ONLY SafeFlame Candles from Gloware and had a great response. Out of a thousand candles ordered, only 26 remained unsold. We will definitely continue to promote the safety aspects of "SafeFlame Candles" and will sell these exclusively at our future events. Thank you for your prompt and efficient service and we look forward to dealing with Gloware as we prepare for our 2006 Carols by Candlelight. Rob Robson
St George Anglican Church. Being a small rural church we are always looking for a means to raise funds, SafeFlame Candles provided us with this means. The use of SafeFlame Candles has removed the associated dangers of being surrounded by scrublands & children with naked flames. This is the second year now that we have used SafeFlame Candles and have found the new LED design to be far more acceptable than previous designs. In future we will continue to use SafeFlame Candles at all church events. Elizabeth Cross Administration

Lottie Stewart Hospital. Lottie Stewart Hospital is a unique facility specialising in the care of young and older persons with chronic conditions such as Huntington's disease, paraplegia, pyschological conditions and physical frailty. The reality of having naked flame candles as part of Carols at Christmas posed serious difficulties and unacceptable danger. Three years ago we were able to introduce safe flame candles to the absolute delight of our residents and visitors. Each of our residents feels an increased sense of participation because of the added pleasure of holding or waving their candles as they sing the carols and enjoy the Christmas music. I commend your company for enabling us to access this wonderful product and recommend your candles to similar residential facilities and to all who may seek for opportunities of involving the maximum number of people in the sharing of festive occasions with safety.
